Hi curious! Doesn't the name say it all. It all began when we were witnessing an amazing lunar lander successfully being landed near south pole of the moon by ISRO in a first-ever such expedition from earth. That reminded us the memories of first human beings on surface of moon over 50 years ago.
Stories about a human colony on other planets filled heart with imaginations and joy.
However, our thought process led us to the stark comparison with the situation of human society on Earth, and we could not help but notice that we have not done any good to our own planet.
While we are exploring secrets of universe, we have not been kind to our own planet off late, especially to her health and to the lots of species on her. I am sure that you have heard how fast we are making planet barren, daily losing species to extinction and endangering our own survival in the process. Don't we know that there is nothing like what we have on earth in vast array of known universe?

We have no doubt that one day, humans will make their fabled journey and establish a colony on another planet. However, we are equally sure that, for a long-long time after that too, our generations will still be habiting this planet, if only we keep it habitable!

Never in the history of millennia of human existence before last century that we humans have inflicted so deep scars with our relentless activities that damaged our own environment. And make no mistake! Mother earth knows how to correct it. She has wiped out all life on her for five times in past, scientific data suggests. She could do that reset anytime and we would lose all known life on earth! So, when we say, save earth, all we are talking about is saving our own species and our won future generations to come!

We have taken our planet for granted and have remained busy in our petty identities that only served to divide us. For example, being Indian or American or Russian. While in fact only identity that really mattered was being Earthen! The urgency of needing to unite as 'Earthen' will be felt starkly if someone who went on other planet, for example Mars and identify themselves with that planet, say Martian! We will then realise that only identity that ever really mattered was being Earthen!

Why not join hands in a sustainable future that guarantees this planet to remain breathable, thriving and enjoyable for our generations to come, not only for us but also for animals, birds and plants too. That idea made us spring to an action and 'Earthen Lifestyles' has born. Our idea slowly took shape. Now we have made a platform for all sustainable activities including our shopping for daily stuffs, to holidays, to our food, clothes that we wear, festivals we celebrate to businesses we do, at one place. Moreover, we have put in place care and support to the community that we are. As we see today, sadly, people who are conscious of this need are in a tiny minority. Until they grow and become powerful enough to be noticed and be able to change directors of larger governments and companies, there is a long way to go. In modern life, in our quest to curiosity, we have tried breaking away from nature to only discover higher sorrow, isolation, cancers, pollution, toxic diseases and a bleak future. Now that AI and Quantum are upon us, the threat to make us even more isolated, inactive and separated from nature is never greater than now.
